MagicSchool AI for School Communications

1. Go to magicschool.ai
2. Click Sign Up in the top right
3. Select I'm an educator/administrator when prompted for your role
4. Enter your school email address
5. Complete the registration — MagicSchool verifies educator accounts

What you should see: Your MagicSchool dashboard, which looks like a menu of AI tools organized by category. Troubleshooting: If your school email isn't recognized, try your personal email and select "school administrator" as your role.

1. In the left sidebar or main dashboard, look for categories like Communication, Family Engagement, or Admin Tools
2. Look for tools specifically labeled:

   • Family Communication Email
   • Parent Letter Writer
   • Newsletter Generator
   • Or similar

   • Tone: Concerned but supportive
   • Key info: School attendance policy, the concern about absences, request to contact the office
   • Call to action: Call the school office to discuss

1. Click Generate (or equivalent button). MagicSchool produces a letter with education-appropriate language, awareness of common school policies, and the right professional-but-human tone.

2. Review the output. Because MagicSchool is built for education, it typically:

   • Uses appropriate school terminology
   • Avoids language that could be interpreted as threatening
   • Includes appropriate disclaimers
   • Matches the formality level of real school communications

1. Edit the output to add:

   • Student name and grade (add manually, not in the AI prompt)
   • Specific absence count (add manually)
   • Your school's name and contact information
   • Principal's signature

1. After using the communication tools, explore:
